This week we take on the first leg of the ICW. We leave from Norfolk, VA and head into North Carolina. We have an interesting time navigating the lock.

Getting past Hatteras was all we could think about for the week preceding it and once past it, we anchored up in Beaufort exhausted and feeling beat up.

This is part one of the trip north for the summer. 1,000 miles and 9 days in total, it was a great trip!
