Our only surprise was how quick our prop’s zinc disappeared. It’s been a year and a half since our last haul out but it seems like it’s still too soon to have burned through that donut zinc. This most likely means we’ll be adding a grounding plate of some sort to isolate our battery bank and onboard electronics from the engine and prop assembly. Not a big deal. If any one has some solid advise/knowledge we’d appreciate a team brain storm. All we ask is for you to be polite and not jump to “you’re boat’s going to sink!” Thanks 😉 Hope you enjoy the 2-part haul out episodes, it was a long but successful weekend 🎉
