In this captivating episode of Sailing Rhumor, we set sail for hidden gems in Italy that will leave you spellbound. The crew explores enchanting coastal landscapes and discovers lesser-known picturesque anchorages as they make their way along the stunning Italian Riviera.
During this 11-hour passage, the crew aboard Sailing Rhumor navigates serene Mediterranean waters, encountering diverse marine life along their journey. The breathtaking Italian coastline reveals itself as they approach their next destination – Santa Margarita.
The beauty of the lesser-explored coastal havens is further accentuated by a moonlit night in their anchorage. Their tranquil surroundings showcase thousands upon thousands – if not millions – of jellyfish manas floating lazily in the sea.
The crew of Sailing Rhumor becomes increasingly impressed by their discovery of this hidden gem in Italy, especially considering the close proximity to other vessels. With just 2 and a half meters of water beneath them, it represents some of their closest anchoring experiences yet.
The crew is particularly awestruck by the sheer cliffs leading directly into the sea and quaint village houses atop those cliffs. The Santa Margarita anchorage offers not only a peaceful respite but also breathtaking scenery as they take in the surroundings from their boat.
This episode highlights just how enchanting Italy’s lesser-known coastal regions can be, making it a must-see for any sailing enthusiast or lover of hidden gems. Don’t miss out on this incredible adventure through the Italian Riviera with Sailing Rhumor.

Rhumor and crew are back in the groove of moving long distances but not without some beautiful scenery to see on the way.
We leave Imperia behind and head across the Ligurian sea to Santa Margherita Ligure. With amazing views of cliffs and coast line on the way to the anchorage. The anchorage was just on the north east side of the bay, with great protection from the breakwater -it was a good nights sleep. In the morning it was up and ready for another day of travelling but that's for the next episode.
Sorry it has taken me so long to get these videos together , we are currently travellingdown to Greece on some more adventures. I will try and keep to some sort of schedule.
