In Ep38 To Formentera. We leave Cartagena heading for Ibiza but to break the trip up we decide that a stop over at Formentera for a night is worth a look, having heard how beautiful it is. When we get there it is everything we thought and more so we change plan and decide to stay another night this gives us time to kick back and rest and play in the crystal clear water. we also make some bread and manage to set up a swing on the boom, it was great just stopping for a bit.
Also Claire had been messaging a British boat that was in the area called Sailing Bella, the next day we move up the coast about an hour to meet them and another British boat called Starry night that was traveling with them. It was great to meet other families that have some much in common with us and really good for the kids to play and have fun with other kids. We had such a good time that we change plan again and decide to not visit Ibiza but to stay with the other two boats for another two days, it was really worth it as they were both lovely families and we were gutted when it was time to part ways as they were heading to the Caribbean and we were off further into the Mediterranean.
So early in the morning all three boats lifted their anchors and Bella and Starry night went on there way to the Caribbean and we went the other way in to the Med and on to Palma Mallorca.
