In this episode we leave Scarborough in quite rocky seas and a cold wind from the North.
We spend the night at an anchorage on the south side of Flamborough Head. We go ashore to meet Claire’s mam and dad who have came down to see us. After a lovely meal in their motor home with them we had a short walk back to the dingy Rhumi, who took us back to Rhumor for an early night, capturing a spectacular sunset.
The alarm was set for 02.00am the following morning to start our journey at 03.00am down to Grimsby. With a great sunrise and clear skies the only thing that could have made it better was the wind -there was very little and what wind there was came from the north so we motored all the way. After a short wait to get into the Marina we were soon along side and ready to explore our new surroundings.
Thanks for watching.
