We were really excited to take a look at this catamaran. At an estimated new MSRP of between $300,000 – $350,000, the Seawind 1160 Lite is one of the most affordable new catamarans out there. We wish that more catamaran companies would make smaller and more affordable ocean-going catamarans. The general theme of the Annapolis boat show was the “bigger is better” mentality which we certainly don’t agree with, naturally so seeing a catamaran of this size was a nice breath of fresh air.
