When we purchased our sailing catamaran several months ago we knew we’d be celebrating Nikki’s birthday in the Bahamas! We’ve made our way to the famous pink sand beaches of Harbour Island, Eleuthera to celebrate. Turns out the beaches aren’t that pink…at least not as pink as the postcards! That’s another win for marketing and fake travel articles, but it’s not too big of a bummer as the beaches are still absolutely lovely here (pink or not).
We’ve been told Harbour Island is the playground for the rich and famous so we’ve given ourselves a birthday challenge: Enjoy the entire day on what it would cost for one dinner out.
