Our SCARIEST Ocean Crossing! 🌊 (4 days from land)

There are times when sailing feels like Murphy's Law in action.  Because if anything can go wrong, it will.  And, most likely, it will happen at night. ❤ Join Our Crew! ❤ For exclusive content, behind the scenes & Q&A's: http://bit.ly/patreon-wynn https://www.gonewiththewynns.com/sailing ☝Full Scoop On The Blog 📷 Photo & Video Gear 📷 https://www.gonewiththewynns.com/photo-video-gear 📱 UPDATES on Social 📱 INSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/the_wynns/ FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/GoneWithTheWynns 📧EMAIL notifications, so you never miss a video🍦 http://bit.ly/gwtw-social 🎶 MUSIC for vids. 2 Months Free: https://bit.ly/artlist-GWTW Artists – Michele Nobler, Michael Shynes, Ian Post, Katrina Stone 💯FREE ways to support our productions http://bit.ly/join-gwtw 🎽GET YOUR SWAG ON: https://gonewiththewynns.teemill.com/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today's story picks up where we left you hanging last week.  With the news that our life raft locker, and all its contents, had been taken by the sea. Staring down at the gaping hole in our cockpit I made the decision to carefully pack away my wild imagination and put it in our waterproof, fireproof safe with our other precious valuables. And even though we've been on terra firma for a couple of weeks now, I still haven't retrieved it.  Because my mind is still reeling and I don't know what to think about all that has happened on this voyage.   One part of me wants to chalk it all up to a calamity of coincidence and the other part of me wonders what nautical deity we must have pissed off. Either way, I'm starting to understand why sailors are such superstitious folk. Grab a tall glass of something good and settle in for what is no doubt our scariest days at sea.  I hereby dub this passage, and chapter of our lives, as "Lessons In Fortitude With Murphy". #BoatLife #Sailing #Voyage WHO ARE WE? We’re Jason and Nikki Wynn. We been living #OffTheGrid and exploring the world for 10 years. Our first six years of #travel were an epic road trip around North America. Now we’re on a sailing voyage about the world. Did we have any previous sailing experience, of course not! Neither of us is overly talented, smart, rich, lucky, or retired. But that doesn’t stop us from reaching far-flung destinations, having wild adventures and managing everything that makes living aboard a moving vessel possible. We’re two ordinary people that just so happen to live an extraordinary life. And this is why we publish our lives on the world wide web. We share in hopes of inspiring you to find your adventure.
