We have just left Lady Musgrave Island after a shocking night on anchor, now on our way to the Keppel Islands we have a beautiful glassed off sunset at sea before a ripper of a sail through the night. We arrive at the island in the early hours of the morning and crash into bed. Our sailing buddies have also just pulled in and we all catch up ashore to cook pizzas in an old rusty sink on the fire, you’d be surprised how well a sink cooks a pizza! It’s Slims birthday and we decide to peal away from the books and laptops to have a small celebration, we collect coconuts on the beach to make Pina Coladas, Soph makes an epic birthday cake and we again go ashore for a fire, this time, cooking smoked Nachos. Island life isn’t bad at all.
