The windlass has been rebuilt for some time. Now the skies are clear to drill some holes through the deck and dive into getting this installed. So much of every project is making sure everything aligns. Now that we are counting down the days to leaving the dock it’s time to get down to business. This is one of the first items we can cross of the must-do to untie the lines. The anchor locker, the down-below part of this project, is less necessary as we can always throw a bucket/tub up there and use that if time gets pressed but the thru-deck holes need to be water tight and the ability to easily hoist the anchor will be a huge advantage. Life of the hook just got a whole lot nicer 👌

Thanks for watching everyone!
