Before our daughter was born, we used to sail with our furry child Marley. He is a pure bred Whippet that we got as an 8 week old pup, before boat life when we were travelling around Australia in our bus Froth. Then along came old covid and flipped the world and travel upside down.
We opted to stay together in a foreign country and wait this ordeal out, only to have pressure of being kicked out of our host country. With no where for us to go and not knowing what would happen to our Marley man, we made the arrangements for him to be exported back to our home country Australia, where we knew he was safe.
For the last 18 months he has been staying with our good friends in Oz, but after months of preparation, finally everything has aligned for him to return to us.
We have been in Bangkok for Bonita to receive emergency explant surgery, this coincidently aligned with Marley’s pre organised travel.
Its been a crazy year of making our new sailboat ready to sail, Bonitas health is on the mend and now the final piece of the puzzle is our fur baby to be back with us.
