This week on Sailing Nandji, we arrive to the city of Ambon after a gruelling passage with strong winds and big seas, then days of drifting with no wind and no motor… Finally arriving to the city of Ambon, land never felt better! We say good bye to our crew member Juzzy who had been on board for nearly a month of sailing! But before he leaves us, we explore the area and the city Ambon. Juzzy had never experienced Indonesian street food before and we thought he better try this before he leaves us, maybe not try everything! Dont eat the dog!!

We are a young couple with a dog, who with no sailing experience, bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off sailing around the Pacific! We have been in Indonesia for a couple of months cruising and our now high tailing to Malaysia for boat work. We departed Australia 18 months ago and have since explored some amazing countries, met some amazing people and experienced cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of no where, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our life doing it! The adventure is just beginning as we sail West with the trades! Indian Ocean next!
