Arriving to La Reunion Island by sailboat is an impressive sight. The mountains disappear into the clouds, the wild life around is active, birds, whales and the coastline is raw and rugged. There are no safe anchorages in Reunion island and therefore we are tied up at the dock safely inside the marina.
Driving around and exploring our first impressions are simply awe. It is stunning everywhere we look. The mountains are impressive and we go hiking to look for waterfalls. We head down the coat to surf and once again everything is impressive. Reunion Island, the home of everything BIG!!
