Rough Night Sail To The Golden Gate Bridge - Ep. 160 RAN Sailing

We’re in California and were hoping for sunshine but it is raining nonstop and the wind is howling. We do a few projects onboard and explore Fort Bragg while waiting for a weather window to sail south. Then we make the jump to San Francisco and it’s a windy one! But going under the Golden Gate Bridge at sunrise was pretty spectacular!

We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat Ran, a custom built Beason 40 in aluminium and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter in January 2016. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us.
