Our new base for a while is Honolulu on Oahu, Hawaii. Here we will have friends and family visiting us and we’ll also prepare the boat for Alaska and British Columbia. But before we can settled down in the marina we have to go through a boat inspection and do a buoy run!
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built Beason 40 in aluminium, untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started to sail south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us.
