In episode 6 there is a ”meeting the crew” where we talk about our prior sailing experience and show some footage from Johan’s sail expedition to the Antarctica and South Georgia Island. After a week in Dieppe in Normandy, France we continue to sail south west to Cherbourg. During our 24 hour stay in Cherbourg we visit the Maritime Museum, La cité de la mer, and discover how a nuclear submarine looks from the inside.
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved in to our sailboat RAN, a one-off aluminium built Beason 40, and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started sailing south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds takes us.
