”Rain Bear” is design #108 from the desk of Paul Gartside, a highly respected Naval Architect known for his creative and stunning designs. “RAIN BEAR” was launched in 2020, being the culmination 20 years of fastidious work by the talented builders. The workmanship is second to none and materials selected are of the finest quality. Paul Gartside has drawn several of these ideal West Coast Pilothouses and describes them as a husky vessel ideal for “comfortable coastal cruising that is hard to beat. The large wheelhouse, inside steering, and diesel heaters make travelling easy and enjoyable even when the weather is wet and cold.
Rain Bear’s replacement cost would be well in excess of $1.4M . Material costs alone would be close to her asking price. This is truly an amazing opportunity for those who appreciate the fine art of wooden boats.
