Let the FAIRING FUN begin + New Trailer! – S02 E10

Hi there!
In this episode of building Wilda we are introducing our new channel trailer!
Also we are making more progress on our beautiful catamaran and this time it is not only on the roof! We started fairing the decks!

I started by cleaning and sanding the catwalk, while Axel was working on reinforcing a few parts just below. Then we begin fairing! We are using a blend of epoxy and Q-cells which we are hoping would be reasonably easy to sand down and shape. Let’s see how this goes. We hope you enjoy watching!

Wilda is a Schionning Wilderness 1340 sailing catamaran. She is being finished in a shed outside Melbourne. Wilda will be powered by the Sun, the Wind and the Sea…

This youtube channel is our way of sharing this project with friends, family and those interested in our adventure of building her and getting her into the water!

We are newbies to filming and video editing, but learning as we go.
We appreciate your kind and/or constructive comments, suggestions and feedback and we’d be happy to see that you like, subscribe and share our videos! Thank you!
