Our Last Ever Sail on Rúna?
We’re Ruth and Andrew, two thirty-somethings who quit our corporate office jobs to chase a shared dream of sailing the world. Follow along as we share the highs, lows and everything in between of liveaboard life on a catamaran.
This could be our last ever sail on board Rúna, our very first boat. After two years and over 5,000 nautical miles living aboard and sailing the Mediterranean, we’re saying goodbye to our Excess 11 catamaran as she goes up for sale and we start meeting potential buyers.
In this episode, we catch our first fish after weeks of trying (then three more!), ride out a rolly anchorage in Cefalù with waterspouts forming just miles away, and explore the beautiful streets of Cefalù at sunset. We hoist the mainsail one final time on the way to Termini Imerese, where Rúna will be hauled out for winter.
