We were quoted over €20,000 to install solar onto our new yacht! 😱 We thought this was a crazy price, so we did it ourselves (with a little bit of help)!
After months of planning, researching, and wrestling with logistics, we’ve finally done it — our solar power system is officially installed on the boat! 🌞⚓ This has been one of the biggest challenges we've faced in transitioning to life aboard and ensuring we can live sustainably and independently off-grid. In this video, we take you through the steps of the installation and show how it all came together.
