An unfinished story… and here we are, five seasons later.
In 2022, we finally launched Yarreh after three years of rebuilding her from the hull up. What started as an ambitious restoration of a storm-damaged sailboat became something much bigger: a complete rebuild, a conversion to electric propulsion, and a whole new way of life.
Then life happened.
Between work, family, and a growing list of adventures (and challenges), our YouTube journey took an unexpected pause. Now, after a year away, we’re back to share what happened next.
There are now three of us aboard, life looks very different, and we’re facing a decision that could change the future of Yarreh. After investing so much into converting her to electric, we’re now questioning the safety and future of our Battle Born batteries — the battery bank we rely on to power our electric sailing dream. With so much time, money, and hard work invested in this boat, we need to figure out what comes next — and whether our electric sailing dream can continue as planned.
Welcome to Season 2.
This is the next chapter of our journey aboard a custom 36-foot sailboat on the beautiful coast of British Columbia, Canada. We’ll be revisiting our rebuild, sharing the realities of living with an electric sailboat, exploring the challenges of maintaining an unconventional boat, and figuring out what comes next.
Some stories were never finished. It’s time to pick them back up.
Thanks for being here, whether you’ve followed us from the beginning or just found us. We’re glad to have you aboard!
