We leave our mates behind in Cairns and make a run for it to the Daintree Rainforest, the world’s most ancient lowland rainforest. For the next few days, we will be completed secluded amongst the jungle and away from civilisation, with the only way in and out via a cable car ferry across the Daintree River. This place is amazing for its attributes of crystal clear freshwater streams flowing through the jungle all the way to beautiful sandy shores where the jungle meets the sea. We’ve never seen worlds collide in such a fashion. We take this time away from phone reception to slow down and enjoy waterholes, game nights and the surrounding forest.
