Adrift in the Doldrums: Storms & Bucket Showers (Days 12-18 Pacific Crossing)

The lack of wind in an ocean of endless calm is met with both celebration and despair. On one hand, it means we’ve entered the next chapter of our journey across the Pacific. But on the other, we’re adrift in the inevitable windless doldrums, working tirelessly for every inch we’re able to move the boat forward. We’re sitting ducks in the storms that surround us, and it’s a luck of the draw if we get hit.
