THE MOST EXPENCIVE CHARTER WEEK? HOW MANY YACHTS CAN BE DESTROYED IN A WEEK? - SwT 99

This must be a record breaking charter week and a charter boat companies worst nightmare! It could qualify for being the worlds most expensive week for both the leaser and the charter boat company.
A company rents 80 bare boat charter and damage and destroy several of them. I can’t tell how sorry I feel for the charter company after having this situation. It have been two tough years for anyone in tourism and especially for charter fleets around the world, and Martinique is no exception. So finally coming back in business again after lockdowns and tough times having several boats out of business must be a challenge. It’s not like you can just replace a boat over night on a Caribbean island.
Whats the difference between a rally and a regatta or a race? A race or regatta is in most insurance companies not cowered. This is why it`s often called a rally instead. Re naming an event does not make it less risky. Hence the fact I never participate in rallies or regattas with my boat. BE FREE is my home and I can’t afford to loos her.

I could made videos of really weird things and mistakes I see around me every day. But I dont belive others mistakes is interesting unless it’s some take away from it. In this case I belive there is a few things to learn from it, and Im trying to share this with you.

Im also sharing some daily life things and giving you a short update on my situation here.

I`m sailing sailing around the world in my Bavaria 55 Cruiser, making videos whenever I have time for it. Most of the time I sail singlehanded but occasionally I do have sailing friends onboard. Still in the Caribbean due to Covid and was supposed to be in Asia by now.

Even though this is season 4 on youtube I did not make that many videos in the beginning. Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and also been an active regatta sailor. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and been sailing ever since. Also more than 10 years experience from Search and Rescue at sea in Norway.
