Delayed with pleasure and learning about rig inspections on Catamarans.

Crossing oceans is not a human right, it costs money. If you cant afford maintenance and running costs you should not do it. Safety is important and rig inspection is a big part of the safety aspect. I have said you can cross oceans in almost anything. I still stand behind this however it should be classed for all oceans and in good condition. I could buy a bigger yacht but would not be able to keep up with running costs. So my point in this video is to show you the importance of rig inspection no matter if your boat is new or old. Big or small. There is no such a thing as my boat is built the old fashion strong way. Any boat no matters the year it built, brand, or makes it still requires maintenance and rig inspection. I’m sorry to be so brutally honest but it’s the truth.

I also show you some daily stuff as normal and having waffles and taco with my friend Hanna. I’m delayed with my own rigging but there is good news!

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
I’m trying to sail solo around the world in my Bavaria 55 Cruiser, making videos whenever I have time for it. Most of the time I sail singlehanded but occasionally I do have sailing friends onboard. Still in the Caribbean due to Covid and was supposed to be in Asia by now.

Even though this is season 3 on youtube I have already sailed 4 seasons full time but did not make that many videos in the beginning. Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and also been an active regatta sailor. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and been sailing ever since.

PLEASE BE KIND IN THE COMMENTS!
I’m just a normal person sharing my travel adventure through my eyes and experience from my perspective! Remember how I do things might work for me but not for you. It might even not be the correct way to do things, and I don’t have the blueprint either. I’m not perfect and nobody is. The day I believe I know it all and don’t think I can learn new things I should go ashore.
