Sailing solo around the world in a Bavaria 55 Cruiser - S/Y Be Free. Most of the time sailing single handed and occasionally with friends and other guests. Dreaming of crossing the Pacific singlehanded. Most of my life has been in the small coastal town Tønsberg, 95 km south of Oslo. With the national park at our doorsteps, and the Oslo fjord and Skagerak sea outside the windows, it was almost mandatory to own a boat. I´m almost raised in a sailboat and had my first by the age of 7. Not only did we spend 3 weeks every summer, and every weekend of my childhood, on the lean (Sailing) But my parents owned a boat factory, where they manufactured sailboats and smaller motorboats. So I think its fair to say I've been into sailing my whole life. MY LAST JOB Full time working for the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue, and almost 10 years as voluntary and skipper for the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue. HOW CRAZY IS THIS? After 3 years of crossing paths we finally met at Sandy Island! This is the story of an incredible journey of two solo sailors almost meeting up several times during the last 3 years. Have you ever wonder how it would look like if you take your time one day to compare your personal timeline with another person for the last 3 years? We took the challenge of comparing logs and photos with time stamps and locations to see how our timeline would look like on top of each others as we suddenly discover some really surprising facts. When digging deeper into this we got even more surprised and its almost like someone been messing with us. We have invested quite a lot of time in putting exact dates and places together with animations and videos to share this incredible journey with you guys. Hope you will enjoy this journey as much as we have done making this.

I`m sailing sailing around the world in my Bavaria 55 Cruiser, making videos whenever I have time for it. Most of the time I sail singlehanded but occasionally I do have sailing friends onboard. Still in the Caribbean due to Covid and was supposed to be in Asia by now.
Even though this is season 3 on youtube I have already sailed 4 seasons full time but did not make that many videos in the beginning. Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and also been an active regatta sailor. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and been sailing ever since.

I’m just a normal person sharing my travel adventure through my eyes and experience from my perspective! Remember how I do things might work for me but not for you. It might even not be the correct way to do things, and I don’t have the blueprint either. I’m not perfect and nobody is.
