Episode 06 : Monterey to Half Moon Bay – with Sailor Commentary at the end of the episode.
Here is the link to Nigel & Miel’s company that was mentioned in the commentary : http://www.nauticalknowhow.org
This video documents the recent sailing trip I crewed on onboard the sailing vessel The Intrepid. We motor-sailed from San Diego, California to the San Francisco Bay area. 10 days, 111 hours at sea and 470 nautical miles. The uphill battle against wind and currents, sailing north on the west coast is no pleasure cruise.
The crew were as follows:
Tim Brill (Owner)
Cody Brill (Captain and son of Tim)
Nigel Howat (English Sailor/45+ years sailing experience)
& James Frederick (thats me).
I have a blog where you can read all the journal entries about each leg of the passage: http://allwaysbutstill.tumblr.com
I will also be uploaded each leg of the trip as “episodes” that will feature commentary at the end reading some of the journal entries and talking about what happened or what we saw on that particular part of the trip.
Please subscribe if you like the video, there will be more !
