On this episode of Sailing Vessel Triteia I get to the bottom of things and tackle the task of cleaning the bottom of my 1965 Alberg 30 that has not been cleaned in over 6 years.

After a long days battled and only getting half done I called in reinforcements and my little brother comes down to the boat with his scuba gear and helps me finish the job.

Big props (well, my prop is actually very small but saying “small props” doesn’t sound very grateful) to my brother Colby for coming out and helping me finish, not sure I could have done it with just snorkel gear!

Thanks for all your comments and likes on the first episode! many more to come!

Fair Winds,
Sailor James

Alberg 30’s have long been known and respected as blue water boats, from Yves Gelinas’ Jean-Du-Sud to being featured in John Vigor’s “Twenty Small Sailboats to Take You Anywhere”. Now I am the proud owner of Hull #55!

Come along with me as I refit her and take her sailing in preparation for my circumnavigation in a few years time!
