Sailing vessel Triteia – Sailing to the Isthmus of Catalina Island – Episode 12

On this episode of Sailing Vessel Triteia we take our first trip to Santa Catalina Island.

Catalina Island is one of California’s Channel Islands, lies southwest of Los Angeles. It’s known for its wildlife, dive sites and Mt. Orizaba, its highest peak. The resort town of Two Harbors lies to the north. We sailed to Cherry Cove and then to Isthmus Cove. Catalina is a beautiful treasure of Southern California and lies just 21 nautical miles from the mainland. We enjoyed some snorkeling off the boat at Cherry Cove and had some dinghy adventures!

I hope you enjoy this episode and if you do please give it a “thumbs up”!
