After a life altering week of solo sailing, my friend’s Rachael and Ben join me for the next leg from Petersburg to Ketchikan, Alaska. The week starts out very wet, but we don’t let the drizzle dampen our moods as we enjoy some sailing down the dredged channels of Wrangle Narrows.
We spend the night at St. John’s Harbor in Sumner Strait, then awake to a dry, but light wind day. As we continue south, we enjoy some excellent fishing as we slowly sail to Exchange Cove near the top of Clarence Strait.
