This is a fun one! We set sail from Prince Rupert towards the less travelled “Inside-Outside” Passage. Calm conditions have us anchor at an obscure anchorage just south of town. We head out fishing in the dinghy and Alex hooks onto a huge halibut, which we manage to land in the 8ft boat!
Now with a huge amount of halibut aboard and no freezer, we set out to catch up with our friends on SV/Violet Hour to share the bounty with since they have a freezer! The day starts out calm but then builds and stays steady allowing us to sail through some skinny channels all the way to the outer coast.
