Of all the places we've ever been stuck on our boat, this has to be our favourite! We are sailing from Tonga to New Zealand but we have stopped off temporarily to explore Minerva Reef, a submerged island with a protected lagoon inside where we can anchor Indioko and wait for the winds to blow in the right direction.
With our very good friends on hand, who have spent more time in Minerva Reef than anyone else in the world, we are ready to explore all the secret and hidden spots in this corner of the Pacific Ocean. We are excited to scuba dive the pristine reefs and bask in all the many different shades of blue that this part of the sea reflects back at us.
