We loved our time in Ahe but now it's time to set sail and head West to one of the most unique places we have ever heard of. After spending almost 5 months in these low-lying atolls where the tallest thing for hundredes of miles has been a palm tree, we're excited to see some mountains and cliffs rising up out of the sea.

Things start off well with calm weather and following seas but as the squalls begin to kick up, we realise we need to change our plans but that means we're stuck sailing for another 24 hours before we will even see land. Nature always wins and we try to learn to follow the patterns and rhythms of the weather, so sometimes you don't quite end up where you expected!
