We sail through the dangerous middle, the ocean that runs between Tonga's islands, along a volcanic ridge from north to south. As we sail from Vava'u to Ha'apai, we cross uncharted shallows, coral reefs and even some humpback whales. It's a fast run in great conditions and our sailboat just won't slow down. When we reach our new destination just before sunset, we are amazed at the beauty of these islands. We have to complete some paperwork to officially register our boat in this part of the country and then we're rushing to make the most of the time that we have here and trying to see as many new islands as we can.
