We re-install our rusty, old generator because we need better redundancy to power our sailboat when our solar panels just aren't enough. We think we've come up with a sneaky trick to give our generators super powers while we're at it so that it will output dual voltages - both 110V AND 240V which would really set us up as a world cruising boat, no limits, no matter where in the world we are!

We also decide to spend another year in French Polynesia to really make the most of the incredible places here that we wanted to explore before our engines blew up. So we have to try and renew our visas, but bureaucracy in a country where you don't speak the language turns out to be a little difficult.

We still had a problem with our generator when we picled it up from the mechanic but Iain spent a few days in the engine bay and figure out the problem with the raw water all came down to an old impeller, so now that's fixed, we're good to go!
