Every good adventure story starts off with a challenge and we are no different - we are off on a quest to find the rare and elusive BLACK PEARL! We have heard that these beautiful gems are unique to French Polynesia and now we are making it our mission to find one before we leave. We are told that the remote atolls in the north of the country are the best place to find these treasures so we're off on a two-day sail to seek out a real pirate adventure and who knows....maybe we'll become rich in the process!

We're Iain and Brioni [The Reds] a couple of redheaded Scots who sold everything we own and moved halfway round the world to buy a boat that we could call home. We have a habit of finding ourselves in the most unusual circumstances, but that’s what makes life interesting! We are Iain and Brioni, a couple from Scotland who have decided to sell everything, buy a boat and go where the wind takes us.
