We are sailing 1000 miles from one end of French Polynesia to the other, and we don't have long to do it. We have loved our time exploring the remote islands of the Gambiers in the south but now it's time to get moving again and we need to be in Tikehau in the far north of the country in just a few weeks.

We don't have a great weather window as there is hardly any wind around, but we'll do our best to get as far as possible with the diesel that we have onboard. Here starts the challenge of light wind sailing!
