In this episode of Sailing Nandji, we adventure to the very remote north coast of the Isabel province in the Solomon islands. Yosh has been excited for months to check out this area in search of the many possible surf spots that we spied on google images. The coast has many reef passes open to the entire north Pacific ocean. We arrived a little later than we wanted and caught the end of the winter swells in the north Pacific. The reef passes had a lot of potential for some amazing waves and both of us had some amazing surfs. At one stage we did not see another human for over a week! Never did we surf with a crowd or even once another person. This is what my dreams have been ever since buying Nandji, exploring remote reefs and surfing with only me… The search is real people.
