In this episode of Sailing Nandji, we check ourselves into Vanuatu at a small village on the west coast of Tanna island, Vanuatu. We have a little explore and head out to drink some kava. With a rolling anchorage, we get frustrated and sail into the strong trade wind for 13 hours to the other side of the island where we find a beautiful anchorage. We then go for a crazy island car ride across the island returning to Lenakel to visit the local markets. We drive past the furious volcano and get our first glimpse of this beast.
