In this episode of Sailing Nandji, Christmas comes early as we receive and install our new Hydrovane. A few months ago on our first overseas passage, our autopilot gave away and we had to hand steer our way across the Coral sea. After hand steering for over 1300 nautical miles our followers decided that enough was enough and a little idea sparked in Traceies mind… How about everyone contributes small amounts and gets these guys a windvane!!!! That is exactly what has happened and we received our new Hydrovane in the post. We install our new self steering device and then take it for a test run!
We are a young couple who with no sailing experience, who then bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off, sailing around the Pacific! SUBSCRIBE TO OUR CHANNEL.
