Follow our journey as we sail Nandji across the seven seas, taking you to some of the most remote corners of the world. We bought Nandji without any sailing experience, taught ourselves how to sail from youtube and crossed the Coal Sea, beginning our offshore journey around the world. In this episode, after returning to our Boat in remote Indonesia, our first sailing trip was cut short with the need to have documents witnessed for a personal matter back in Australia. With the only option to fly to Jakarta or Bali to visit the embassy… A 100nm sail, 3 hour car drive, 3 flights and a screaming baby later, we are in Bali!!! With the official trip out the way, its time to play!
Feeling in need of a fresh start, we visited Ubud in central Bali. This is an area known for relaxation, healing and is a spiritual place for the Balinese people. Visiting the Tirtat Empul water temple, we partake in a ceremony to help us bring positivity for the future and to leave our negative thoughts and stress in the past.
