🌿 Herbs, Squirters & Salsa – Another Week on the Water! ⛵
This week aboard Sailing Intermission…
Our basil and dill surprised us by sprouting early—who knew we had such a green thumb? Meanwhile, we tackled some boat chores: Steve sanded rust off the emergency tiller head and gave it a fresh cold zinc coating. That man and his pole... Karen swears he's just showing off. 😏
We're still stripping (wood, people—get your mind out of the bilge), revealing even more of our beautiful African Mahogany. Messy, but worth it!
The dinghy? Oh boy. We left it in the water too long and it turned into an oyster nursery. Baby oysters everywhere—and yep, they squirt. Karen got squirted all over and had to swap her bikini for something more… splash-resistant. She may never drink boba tea again. 😂
The dinghy got a full Brazilian (you’ll see what we mean), and Steve may or may not have outed Karen’s "bald kitty." Don’t worry—it’s all in good fun. We wrapped it all up with some salsa dancing on deck, because why not?
