In this episode we make the new installments on the rig so we can continue our sail to Portugal. While waiting for our sails to be ready, we make a visit to Vigo, Galicia’s biggest city. Johan finish the installments on the mast and when everything is ready we sail the 25 nm to Portugal and arrive to Viana do Castelo in the evening. Viana do Castelo is a picturesque little town with pretty houses and Portuguese tiles. Soon we’re in Lisbon!
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved in to our sailboat RAN, a one-off aluminium built Beason 40, and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started sailing south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds takes us.
