THREE days to get out of Malaysia after weeks of serious Boat Repairs Ep 236
After weeks of heavy boat work in the yard—and a visa overstay to prove it—we were more than ready to get moving again. Before casting off, Darroch treated everyone on Rebak Island to a surprisingly captivating talk about ants (yes, ants!), turning a simple island hangout into a mini nature lesson.
Once we finally left Malaysia, we took a moment to dive into the traditional process of making rice and wrapped up all the checkout formalities before setting sail for Thailand. Reaching a cool Thai island felt like the perfect reward, and celebrating the crossing with our friends from Best Life Sailing made it even better.
A bit of science, a lot of boat work, new experiences, and the joy of finally moving on—this episode has a little of everything.
