Breathtaking Waterfall + Sailing to Lombok & Touching Wild Animals Up Close! Ep 228
We sailed across the Indonesian waters, chasing the horizon until after a few days of navigating and passing scattered islands, we dropped anchor near a remote island that looked untouched by time. We reached a quiet little island that felt like something out of a dream. There, we hiked up to a stunning waterfall tucked deep in the jungle—completely surrounded by the sounds of nature and not much else. It was peaceful in a way that’s hard to put into words, and we really soaked in the simplicity of it all.
After that, we continued our journey on to Lombok, where we spent a day at a wildlife park. It was kind of like a zoo, but not quite—what surprised us most was how close we could get to the animals. Many of them were just roaming around, and we were actually encouraged to feed and gently stroke them. It felt more like being a guest in their space than just a visitor. Of course, the crocodiles were wisely kept separate… no one was stroking those!
