Sometimes building a boat can get a bit grinding and it's important to keep your eye on the prize and this week we escape the project for the Annual Seawind Regatta in Northern Sydney. Experience gained in racing has really lifted my knowledge of the tactics and sail handling to get the best out of the boat on a Catamaran so similar to the one I am trying to build. My idea to add some extra water tanks has added a whole new dimension to the extra work required but in the end will pay dividends when we are moored up for weeks in a nice tropical location .
