Synergy Stretches Her Legs - Best sail in months Ep462
This was the best sailing day we’ve had in months. We slipped the anchor at Pancake Creek and ran south down the Queensland coast toward Hervey Bay and Platypus Bay — Synergy stretching her legs under sail, the wind doing the work for once, and both of us grinning for most of it. If every passage were like this one, we’d never touch the engines.
In this episode we make the most of a rare, perfect breeze, carry it south past Burnett Heads and into the top of Hervey Bay, and drop the pick at Platypus Bay. Blood, sweat, swearing and tears — but mostly grins this time.
