Ep061 Fuel tank and Scarfing Main Bulkheads – Life ON The Hulls – Catamaran Build

We are on a mission to build a 40 foot Catamaran and a complete Catamaran Fit out pretty much on our own and the enjoy the benefits of sailing and living on a cruising Catamaran. Our Catamaran is being built to Australian Maritime Safety Survey Standards This series is all about the blood sweat swearing, logistics and tears involved in building a catamaran from scratch.
This Catamaran build is getting complex as I discover the fuel tanks I want don’t quite fit,and some welcome assistance from Ed and Deb from San Francisco whilst sailing around the world. Our main forward compression bulkhead is scarfed and put in place on the hottest week in Australian History . Scarfing Main Bulkheads is a major step forward in this project.
