We make the huge decision to leave Indonesia rather than renew our visas. We have decided instead to return to the Kimberley and explore the places we didn’t get to before and to revisit the locations which we loved the most.
We have a few days to get everything sorted before our Indonesian visas will run out.
We give away as much fresh food as we can and gorge our way through our meat and vegetable provisions!
We check out of the country and then leave Labuan Bajo and make our way to our last Indonesian anchorage for the night.
Then we begin the week long passage from Indonesia to Broome. The seas are horrible, with tide and wind creating three metre standing waves! They are the most confused and dangerous seas we have ever encountered.
At first Peanut takes it in her stride and surfs down the waves.
But, on Magnus’ watch he goes to check Peanut and she is completely under water!
Can we save her…
