Ep 399 | DODGY BEER, REVIEW and the OLDEST city in Holland, European Vacation
We kick off this episode in the middle of a freezing Dutch week with snow on the decks and fog on the canals. Magnus tries another beer and gives a very honest review of a triple that comes with a 900‑year heritage. From stainless steel aromas to coriander syrup surprises, it’s a tasting that doesn’t quite go to plan.
With the weather still icy, we head into town to pick up hardware supplies, gas fittings and sheets of timber to improve for Wendy's saloon area. Along the way we wander through the oldest city in Holland and pass the massive bridge we’ve travelled beneath so many times.
We try and decipher the myriads of signs which litter the landscape. It’s a funny learning curve!
There’s snow, fog, beavers, big ships and plenty of laughs.
